About Gillian ( Height 5'5", Hair Color: Ginger, Eye Color: Green)

Gillian:  I am an actor, singer, costume designer, and digital artist working out of Cincinnati, Ohio. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and I graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, with emphases in Musical Theatre and Costume Design. I have been cultivating my love for storytelling and pushing myself to learn new tools in order to tell those stories. I hold immense value in all  aspects and angles of theatre, particularly working collaboratively with artists to lift each other up. 

I have experience on stage, having performed in mainstage productions, community theatre, and project work.

I have costume experience researching, designing and creating mainstage costuming, building costumes, patterning, and altering. 

Additionally, I have experience working front of house, and training in lighting and sound. 

Outside of theatre I enjoy writing and drawing. I have digital characters with storylines that have been living— as time allows— for several years. They have families, significant others, triumphs, tragedies, and of course, fabulous costumes!

And I’m always happy showing off pictures of my incredible cats, Anakin and Obi Wan!

My goals are to continue developing as a professional actor, performing on stage and on film, bringing characters to life and connecting to audiences of all types. I am passionate about my craft and I want to continue to learn, grown, and share theatre.
